Many builders have asked us in the past if the state builders exam given by PSI is available in Spanish. We are excited to share that, as of September 1, 2024, the Residential Builder, Residential Builder Business and Law, and Salesperson exams are offered in English or Spanish. This update aims to make the exam process more inclusive and accessible for Spanish-speaking individuals pursuing a career in the residential building industry.
If you prefer to take the exam in Spanish, it's important to note that scheduling the Spanish version of the exam requires an additional step. You cannot schedule the Spanish exam online. Instead, you must call and clearly communicate your preference for the Spanish version to the PSI Customer Service Representative (CSR) during the scheduling process. This will help avoid any confusion and ensure a smooth process.
